HOSPICE EXPERTS
Leadership Built on Clinical Experience and Operational Expertise
Shelley Henry, RN, founded The Amity Group after more than 22 years working as a Hospice Nurse and witnessing the realities agencies face every day. She saw firsthand the growing workforce crisis—hospice agencies struggling to find qualified professionals while experienced nurses were leaving the field due to burnout, lack of support, and overwhelming demands. Her experience led to the creation of a model designed to support hospice agencies while providing clinicians with a structured, supported, and professionally protected way to continue their work.
Adam Henry brings the operational and business leadership that helped turn Shelley’s vision into a scalable system for hospice agencies and clinicians. His focus has been building the infrastructure, technology, and operational structure that allow Amity to operate with consistency and professionalism. Together, Adam and Shelley created The Amity Group to bridge real hospice experience with strong operational systems, providing a more reliable and structured approach to hospice staffing.
The Amity Group was created to
strengthen hospice agencies by
connecting experienced hospice clinicians through a structured partnership model.
As a hospice-only partner, Amity provides agencies with access to experienced hospice clinicians who help stabilize teams, support patient care, and navigate the operational and compliance demands of hospice.
Founded by hospice professionals who understand the realities of the field, Amity was built to give agencies a reliable and structured way to manage staffing while maintaining continuity of care.
TRUE PARTNERSHIP
A True Partner for Hospice Agencies
Staffing in hospice has often been treated as a transactional service rather than a meaningful part of patient care. The Amity Group was built to provide hospice agencies with a more reliable and structured partnership.
We believe hospice agencies deserve access to experienced hospice clinicians who understand the responsibility that comes with this work. Our approach focuses on strengthening agency teams, supporting operational stability, and maintaining continuity of care for patients and families. Through a structured partnership model, Amity provides hospice agencies with clinicians they can rely on when staffing needs change.
